Importance of Social Media

This is Minerva Torres-Guzman. I added tabs under our blog name, adding a page titled RESOURCES for future use. Also, I changed the favicon icon to a library.


 I am adding an embedded short from the ALA's youtube page stating the importance of spreading awareness and fighting for library funding in your area. I also added a link for the main youtube page at the end of their quoted text.

     Social media and its reach can be a great tool for our local libraries. We can share community calendars and events alongside campaigns to help fundraise for needed resources and become a hub of up to date, reliable information.
